So what's been goin' on?

With all of the things that I do to reach out on the interwebs I sometimes neglect this site. Which is weird because if there's one place on the web that I can call my very own this is it. I guess the truth of it is that a personal web page has a lot harder time finding an audience than a Twitter feed, a Flickr pool, or a Tumblr site. Those things all have a built in audience to draw from if you know how to tap them.

Creating a 3D HeroClix map - a video series

Continuing with my new found love of HeroClix I've started this new video series that follows my progress as I build Jotunheim, a HeroClix map.

Repainting HeroClix miniatures - my newest obsession

I blame the Avengers movie...

I've successfully avoided getting into HeroClix since its first release back in 2002. I didn't have much of an interest in getting into a game where the miniatures were already painted and the boardgame-like gameplay wasn't something I was interested in at the time.

Commission painting: Thoughts a year+ later

I had actually meant to write (or record) something about this around January because at that point it had been closer to a year since I really started doing commission painting work. I wanted to share my thoughts on it because this didn't really turn out the way I had expected.
