Randy Cooper Models

File 1141

When I discovered that my friend Randy Cooper was trying to sell his amazing models through blogger and word of mouth I whipped a site up for him with Wordpress in order to provide a better showcase for his work. It was still primarily a blog, but it also included some static pages for specific models as well as his past work. It wasn't a perfect solution but this was before I knew about Drupal.

Wordpress shares many similarities with Drupal in that it's built to make it much easier for the non-programmer to have a fully functioning site in a short period of time. It even feels like a better polished product. The downside from myperspective is that it appears to be very much focused on the blogging side of things and that the polish is gained at the expense of flexibility.

The latest incarnation of the site is now fully Drupalized and includes shopping cart by way of Ubercart, a rotating header graphic, photo galleries, a blog and can easily be expanded in any number of ways.
