A DZC Scourge Army in its home base

Minis in the Wild

June 18, 2014

It's not very often that I get to see the minis that I've painted for clients after they've left the studio. So when I get pictures of them in their new homes I get really excited.

Here we can see a Scourge Army that I've been working on for Drew. Drew had me really stretching my skills by asking for a colored-metallic paint scheme for his army. In order to execute it I decided to use an undercoat of silver with an overcoat of Badger Ghost Tints to get the color. there's certainly more to it than just that, but that was the core color concept anyway.

As I was putting things away as they got finished I never really got to see the entire army on display like this. I can only imagine how cool it must be on the tabletop.
